There are lots of blogs about being a mum. I’ve read a good deal of them, mostly when seeking advice or comfort in my panic-stricken early days of motherhood, or, more recently, desperately seeking new, interesting ways to cook vegetables for my recently emerged toddler. Well, this blog is not going to dish out advice on baby sleep, food or anything at all, in fact. It’s a place for me to write about the things I experience or observe, as a mother. Things that could only happen to me because I’m a mother, or things that my newly mothered-up brain sees differently, now that I’m part of the mother-hood. Or even just things that I’m writing about now because I’ve started a blog and I happen to be a mum… because, essentially, I’m still the same person. Although I think I look at the world from a slightly difference place now and it’s from that place that I’ll be writing this blog.
